Abstract

Ameloblastic odontoma is an uncommon odontogenic tumor of mixed origin, characterized by the simultaneous occurrence of an ameloblastoma and a composite odontoma.
Previously classified with ameloblastic fibro-odontoma under the term, ameloblastic odontoma, the more aggressive clinical and histologic behavior of odontoameloblastoma warranted classification as a distinct entity. So, introduction of this
lesion
and
report of a case will be presented as an example of clinical application.
